Dish: Pan fried pink salmon
Cost: < £10
It's like fast food... with more nutrition.
Ingredients:
- 2 pieces of fresh salmon belly
- Ready to bake frozen fries/wedges
- Fresh lettuce and round tomatoes
Pan fried salmon:
1. Season lightly with salt and coarse black pepper on both sides.
2. Heat pan up with oil. When pipping hot, gently place salmon into pan and fry for 4-5 minutes on each side. (Trick for a crispy salmon skin - do not turn and re-fry same side).
3. Place onto plate and serve with baked fries/wedges (baked according to instructions on packet).
4. Place fresh lettuce and tomatoes on the side.
Enjoy this romantic meal for two with a glass of white wine.
